Medium and Long Term Strategic Skill List (MLTSSL) was earlier known as The Skilled Occupation List (SOL). The list contains close to 176 occupations. The list mentions those occupations that are currently in high demand in Australia. Since, Australia is in constant need to fill the labour gap with the highly skilled and qualified workers for the betterment of their economy. The immigration department closely acts as a watchdog for the occupations which the country needs currently.
Thus, if your occupation falls under Medium and Long Term Strategic Skill list, you may apply for Australia Permanent Residency.
This List is Applicable to those Applicants Who:
- Wants to apply for Australia Independent Subclass 189
- Are issued an invitation on or after March 18, 2018 to make an application for visa 189
- Wants to apply for Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Subclass 489
- Are issued an invitation on or after March 18, 2018 to make an application for visa 489
