Canada’s immigration backlog down slightly to 2.6 million

IRCC stock has declined for the first time since July 2021.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is reporting a shortfall in its August 31 list.

An IRCC spokesperson sent inventory data to CIC News suggesting that the backlog has been reduced by 95,204 persons in a matter of six weeks.
