Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Application Process 2018

Here are the general minimum requirements to be eligible for application to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program:

Attain minimum score of 60 out of 100 in the MPNP assessment grid:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Candidate should be older than 21 years and younger than 45 years of age.
  • They should have a valid job offer or an occupation in-demand.
  • Should have at least diploma or degree or equivalent certification.
  • Must attain a minimum score of 4.5 IELTS, which should have been taken in the past 2 years.
  • Should be able to furnish sample documentation in support of residency in Manitoba.
  • Must furnish authorities with a Settlement Plan specifying interest in permanent residency in Manitoba.

MPNP relies on a point-based assessment grid which takes into account several factors and scores each immigration profile on the basis of the same. These factors are – language proficiency, age, work experience, education, and adaptability and risk assessment. The maximum score that one can achieve is 1000 points and this score is also considered by the IRCC when assessing an application through the Express Entry stream for entry into Manitoba.

Manitoba PNP visa fee – Every Applicant who wishes to immigrate to Manitoba in Canada has to pay the government fee of Canada which includes the CIC fee Processing and IRCC fee. Below is the fee for Manitoba PNP.

CIC Processing Fee for each application

  • Main applicant = CAD$500 per applicant
  • Each family member age 19 or older = CAD $500 per applicant
  • Each accompanying family member under age 19 who is married or in a common-law relationship = CAD $550 applicant
  • Family member under age 19 year = CAD $150 per applicant

Right of Permanent Residence Fee        

  • Principal applicant:  CAD $490 per applicant
  • Spouse or common-law partner = CAD $490 per applicant
  • Dependent or common law partner = NILL (NO FEE)
