QUEENSLAND SKILLED OCCUPATION LISTS (QSOL)

Queensland Skilled Occupations List 2025

If you’re planning to migrate to Australia under a skilled visa, Queensland — one of the most dynamic states — offers excellent opportunities for skilled professionals. The Queensland Skilled Occupations List (QSOL) identifies occupations that are currently in demand across the state for both onshore and offshore applicants.

This list helps skilled migrants apply for state nomination under Subclass 190 (Skilled Nominated Visa) or Subclass 491 (Skilled Work Regional Visa) through the Queensland State Nomination Program.

What is the Queensland Skilled Occupations List (QSOL)?

The Queensland Skilled Occupations List is published by Migration Queensland (MQ) to attract skilled workers who can contribute to the state’s economic growth.
It includes high-demand occupations across industries like:

  • Health and Medical

  • Engineering

  • Education

  • IT and Technology

  • Construction and Trade

  • Agriculture and Hospitality

If your occupation is listed, and you meet the eligibility requirements, you may apply for a Queensland State Nomination to gain additional PR points.
